Why train glutes and legs beyond appearance?
Understand the value of stronger legs beyond changes in appearance.
Track what you can do as well as how you look: movement control, perceived effort and gradual strength progress offer useful reference points. Consider the whole movement rather than chasing a sensation in one muscle.
A six-week study recorded strength gains in squat, deadlift and hip-thrust groups, though it lacked an inactive control and does not rank the exercises. Biomechanical work describes hip-thrust demands without proving superior long-term growth.
Record technique, capability and recovery alongside body measurements. Strength in a practised task does not guarantee improvement in every daily activity.
